college

i am pretty excited! i got a call today while i was doing my homework, it was from the admissions counselor (Jared) from Corban. he told me that i got accepted! :] i didn't think that i wouldn't make it, but it was really awesome to have someone i actually know call and let me know. it made my day! it was so funny, while i was talking to Jared, his co-worker was in the background cheering... it was funny. so yeah. thats the biggest thing in my life that has happened in a while! :P

i have a natural tendency to think about stuff way too much. then i get stuff stuck in my head and something happens that messes with that, then i feel weird. i hate over thinking.

.week.

this week was pretty fun! with all the spirit days and stuff... it was very enjoyable! ill post some more pics from the week later coz they wont post right now.

last night, i went to the football game and then the homecoming dance! it was fun, but the other ones i have attended were a lot more fun. but it was kool so im not complaining! l0l. i talked to my mom while we were driving back from danielles house. we had interesting convos. i found out stuff that made me respect certain people even more than i already do. which was kool. then i got home and slept till 10 this morning! :] i finished my hw (the little that i had). and then read and now im chillin. :]

so yeah. i havent talked about APU yet! so ill start there. so... we drove up monday morning. toured the campus....which was blah. so the whole time i was txting my friend who attends APU and we were plannin when we would meet up. so then like toward the end of the tour, i see her come out of a building so it made me happy! we hung out later and had AMAZING coffee....which i think was the best part about APU. l0l. i didnt like APU too much but i would go there if i needed to. so yeah. the highlight was seeing mi amiga!!!

then school on tuesday was okay. no school ystrday! so i went to HIU. i hated it. im nt even gnna apply there. it was so institutional!!! ughh. yucky.

so yeah. school today was chill. today was a day that will go down in AP gov history..... NO HOMEWORK!!! for the first time this year!! :P

ok. so yeah. my life is pretty non-eventful. so..... the end.

hectic

so yesterday i went to a craft fair with my mom an some other people. then i got dropped off to babysit. it was fun. the kids were well behaved... i loved it! then i stayed the night with the family. they dropped me off at 10-10:30ish this morning.

i took a shower etc and headed for danielles at 10:45. it took me OVER an hour to get to her house. the freakin marathon blocked off 2 of the 3 ways to get to her house and i couldnt even get to the 3rd one. i talked to a cop, he was useless. then i talked to gary, which didnt help because i couldnt do what he told me to do. so i decided i would go how i thought i could get in. eventually i did get there, after making many u-turns, going around the traffic circle multiple times, and being really pissed off.

so yah. then i went with danielle to yogurt land...which i think is pretty awesome! then we found our way to the Schmidt house for our el salvador meeting. it was alright. nothing exciting. we watched a movie which was pretty depressing. but yeah it was cool. then i came home, ate, and now im blogging.

im really excited! tomorrow i get to visit APU and see my friends! :] yay!

chelsea hope mcconnell

(So this is another friend thing that i said i would do.)

Today i got home, and on my bed, was a package. It was from Chelsea! she sent me a Brooke Fraser cd.... which i am OVERJOYED about! and a cd with TONS of pics! it re-made my day!!

Chelsea is so amazing! we have had so much fun together! we have known each other since preschool/kindergarten and we went to the same school for like 8 years. I can talk to her about anything! she is so chill and laid back and fun to be around! i cant not laugh when i am with her! She is the reason my email address(s) are what they are. She has always been an amazing friend, even when we were not living in the same country! i remember one summer, i think the summer when i first go here (04), we emailed EVERY day. Quick story, for one of her birthdays, we went to her house for a sleepover. Her dad made us sit on a plastic thing and he attached it to a quad bike and pulled us around the farm, where the cows had been. we were a little gross when we got off but it was so much fun! that was the party that i slipped in the shower and killed my tailbone! i had the biggest bruise! but yeah.... Chels is amazing and i love her SO much!

today

was a ton if fun! climbing wasnt the best thing in the world, but being able to do it with friends was AMAZING! it wore me out! i came home and took a nap and now im ready to sleep again!

i need to vent so, sorry. i am so freakin sick of FAKE people. IMMATURE people. and people who JUDGE. they all needa get their own life and live it instead of gettin into mine and pretending to be something they arent. i am me and i dont get why people cant just be them. gahhhh. im pissed at some people right now. they needa get a life. the end.

this people show me how lucky i am to have amazing friends who are REAL. DONT JUDGE and know how to be MATURE (sometimes.... but thats what makes them them!) i love you guys!

I was reading the paper the other day, and I saw an article about Nick. The quote definitely summarizes his life. I loved the 'smile' part of it. It is so true! I complain about dumb stuff, he has no limbs but he doesn't complain about it! He uses it to testify to God's amazingness and love for us. He keeps smiling, so can I.

life lessons

today was full of lessons for me. hanging out with people who have been through everything and done everything is really fun! you get advice about life that no young person could ever give you so convincingly. thats what today was for me. we talked to Alice, she was amazing! her health is pretty bad, but her mind is all there! she tells it like it is! i loved talking to her! in total, i probably talked to her for about an hour. maybe more. it was a lot of fun! we spent time decorating and talking to the elderly, it was fun! especially because i had friends to do it with. :]

i should be doing homework. but neeeh. im gonna chill and do it later. :P

oh, and a "highlight" of the day: being accused of being a juvenile delinquent. yes. me (and august and danielle) were accused of helping the old people "for court". ahahaaaa. pretty funny!

FINALLY!!!

its the weekend! this week was pretty stressful, AP Gov test [which suuuucccckkkeed], Bible test, math quiz [eeek], and AP gov quiz, all in two days! NOT FUN! so i am stoked that is is over! tomorrow i am doing my community service with my amigas. then sunday is CHILL day! :] and thats it.

today was my dads birthday so we went to the elephant bar for dinner. i LOVE the "decorations" and theme in it! :] yeeyahh elephants! haha.

i should TOTALLY be doing homework right now.....but im not... and im not plannin on doing it tonight.

creative writing was pretty hilarious totally! i was laughing SO hard, it was awesome! mr becher informed us about his drug-dealer friend that he had as a kid. his name....was.... HERMAN! yes, herman the drug dealer. okay so maybe you had to be there. mr becher's attempt at gangsta lingo, yeah pretty funny.

land culture book quote: "i was going to say that you were pitiful, but i didnt want to disgrace .... the word." not sure if disgrace was the right word. that was hilarious though!

our new spot at lunch is pretty awesome! its more, us-ish, than the other spot.

AP gov... yeah bombed the freakin quiz. :/ why do i care about that stuff? oh thats right.... i dont. :P

the bus ride was fun. i got gleeked on..... yah that was weird and disturbing. but i had fun.

i talked to danielle and i said something about how james bell responded to the ethnicity thing we did in 1st period yesterday. he said something like.... "me? african american?" so i was telling danielle this, and she attempted to finish the sentence and said "im black!" then i heard katie in the background, she said "you not black danelle". AHHAHHAHAAa it was pretty funny! she then proceeded to call danielle orange. :P

so thats my vida....not that anyone cares, i just felt like typing. yeeeeeeeeep.
