its been a while

well since the last time i blogged.... SOOO much has happened! not really. but i just wanted to say that. :P i am approaching the final days of senior year which is definitely bitter-sweet. i am ready to fly but i dont really wanna leave the ground yet. yesterday was our LAST assembly EVER! last class cheer, last sining the alma mater in the gym, last class color day. kinda sad. i have loved my high school years and i am so blessed to be at valley and have the friends that i do.

that was depressing... moving on!

today got in touch with someone i havent seen or heard from since the 8th grade. we were PE buddies (because our numbers were next to each other. so we sat together every day for like 15 minutes). i was really excited to catch up with him! i love facebook! :P so that made my day!

right now my life is really chill but its about to pick up! may 29 is gonna be an extremely busy day! this is whats happening:
-math test
-english test
-museum visit paper due
-WEST week app due (the EIGHT page one)
-Grandads birthday
-Aunty flies in

granted a couple of those are AWESOME!! they still make for a PACKED day. i guess ill survive. :D

so thats my life right now!

analogy

in youth group, we are watching a video series called the Gospel Journey, and tonight something really stuck out to me. The topic was purpose in life, and one of the leaders (on the video) said that he had a skateboard analogy. he said that one time he left his skateboard outside and when he went to get it, there was a kid sitting on it (board upside down) and spinning the wheels. The little boy was having a blast spinning the wheels. Then Zane (the leader) said that he went over to the kid and asked him if he wanted learn how to use a skateboard how its supposed to be used. so Zane taught the kid how to ride it, and the kid had even more fun than just spinning the wheels. how does his relate to a persons purpose in life? well we can have a lot of fun spinning the wheels of our lives, partying and living life how we want to. BUT that is not the real purpose of our life, God has called us to even bigger and better things. So while it may be fun just spinning the wheels, our purpose is so much greater than that!

it really made me think so i thought i would share it.

being back at school is not too bad. i have had a butt load of hw the last two nights but its alllll good! the weather has been AMAZING! 100+!!!!! perfect! :P i really think warm weather puts me in a good mood because i have been SO happy and positive the lasts few days!

well today we went on a NHS fieldtrip to medieval times. it was kinda boring but soooo much better than school!!! :P it was a good outing... better than last year!!

spring break.

so it has been a while since i posted. i am now nearing the end of spring break which is sad. i had a really good week! for the most part i just stayed home, helped mom with stuff, and ran errands oh and i read to (for my english independent novel project). it has been nice to relax!! yesterday i went and watched slumdog millionaire (for the third time) with one of my friends. then we played the wii! oh it was so much fun! we played a cooking game and tennis.... which we were amazing at! haha. it was fun! last night i went to kids club and helped which was fun even though i REALLY didnt wanna go. today... i got a tan! :D it makes me happy! so now i wont be too white for JSB! :D oh yeah... and last night i spent an hour or more on skype talking to tim which definitely made my day!

i have had such an amazing, carefree and relaxing spring break! :D and im in a VERY good mood!

its been a while

so yeah... my life has not really been very exciting previous to this weekend. i am starting to get a nice tan! :D yay for warm weather! so i dont even know what has happened in my life. BUT i do know what has happened this weekend! on friday.... my mom went to LAX to pick up one of her best friends, her husband, and one of their sons (Rhys). They came back to the house and we chilled for a bit.... took some pics. Then we went to the top of Signal Hill and took more pics. Then we went to Knotts to eat at the chicken dinner restaurant. After that we took the visitors to their hotel and met up with the other son (Barry). Then we came home. Today we got up and went to SIX FLAGS! It was awesome. My mom and the other older folk waited for Rhys Barry and I to do a ride, but after waiting for two hours they decided to let us roam by ourselves. So we went on the best rode first, X2. It was amazing! Then we went and ate lunch at the Moose Lodge thing. The waiter was so funny! And a magician guy came and did some amazing tricks! Then he made me an adorable bear-on-a-tricycle balloon animal! :D We rode a few rides with the (older) adults and then went on another ride. Then we got dinner and the visitors proceeded to go to Disneyland for a few hours. I was already dead.... Disneyland would have killed me even more (if thats possible). This weekend has been a lot of fun! Tomorrow will be a relaxing day. :D So yeah... thats the most exciting thing that has happened in a while. :D Ill post pics once I get them on the computer.

my life has been pretty bland lately. ive realized just how small this world is. but thats it.

last week my youth pastor told us that if we read the book of John twice during the week then he would give us candy. i didnt do it for the candy.... but i did it and i loved it! its an amazing book that gives a really good overview of Jesus' ministry. i really enjoyed it.

i am approaching the three week mark of lent. that is three weeks without secular music (its been VERY good for me!) and soda. God is totally helping me through.... i could not do it without him!
