something to think about.

my friend wrote this and i absolutely LOVE it! the last two lines are something that are now engraved in my heart and mind. our lesson at youth group was about love and was just like what the chapel speaker said last week. as Christians, all of our good works and stuff are pointless if its not done in LOVE. i love how this poem shows what real love is, not something we feel, but a dedication. so yeah.

God of Power
God is He
The God who will reign
For eternity

The winds blow strong
The oceans roar
The stars shed light
While eagles soar

The roses bloom
Their beauty display
The birds sing for joy
While to You, Lord, pray

"Who am I
That You remember me?
'Twas Your Son that died
Upon the tree"

"My child, My child"
Said a Voice from above
"The reason I died
Was to demonstrate Love"

"I chose to die
That you might live
The man might learn
To love and forgive"

"I set an example
Of love and devotion
That man might see
True love's not emotion"

that is amazing. not only is it an amazing poem, but like you said it gets the point across. the last stanza or two is perfect.
